The John Muir Chapter is hosting a showing of the award winning film "Return of the River" documenting the persistence and patience of the Native American and other conservationists in removing two dams on the Elwha River on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington. The showing will take place Sunday, October 22 at the New Parkway Theater, 474 24th Street, Oakland. The theater will open at 1230 and the film will start at 1pm (it is 70 minutes long).
