The Grizzly Peak Fly Fishers and the John Muir Chapter of Trout Unlimited are hosting a joint beginners fly fishing clinic at the Oakland Casting Ponds in September. This is a very comprehensive and hands-on class. The morning will begin in an outdoor classroom setting at the picnic tables and then we will be casting on the ponds. There will be some handouts for you to take home to practice your new skills and there are several instructors so you will get plenty of individual help with everything. We hope to make this a fun event for you and to make your introduction to fly fishing an easy one! Lets take the mystique out of Fly Fishing...
